Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences
"Great To Be Nominated" Series
Now, through August 20, 2007
A series of screenings that feature the movie from each Academy Awards year that received the most nominations without winning the Best Picture award. Films include Born on the Fourth of July (1989), The Godfather, Part III (1990), Bugsy (1991), and Howards End (1992). The Late, Great Kate: A Centennial Tribute to Katharine Hepburn
July 20 - August 21
Celebrating the centennial of Katharine Hepburn's birth, LACMA presents 18 weekend films and five Tuesday matinees in tribute to the actress ranked as the top female movie star by the American Film Institute poll.

"Rockin' Hollywood" Exhibit
Now through September 6, 2007
The Sun Deck Gallery aboard the historic Queen Mary in Long Beach, California, presents a new exhibition featuring 80 images of classic rock and movie legends by photographer Michael Childers.
Addmission is free.

An entertaining look at how Hollywood viewed the cloak and dagger world of spies. From license to kill Bond to lethal by accident Smart, the collection contains some of the most infamous items from TV and film lore. Maxwell Smart's shoe phone, Dr. Evil's ring, and Emma Peel's Leather Pants. These are just some of the 400 items that will be on display in this one of a kind exhibit.
The Spy-Fi Exhibit is included in the First Class Passage ticket price of - Adult: $27.95, Senior/Military*: $24.95, Child (5-11): $16.95. Individual Spy-Fi tickets are $10.00 and do not include access to the ship.

Outdoor Summer Movies
Wednesdays, Now through to August 15
Wednesday will become a dedicated block party featuring fun and games for the kids, and an array of vendors offering dinnertime treats for all. Then, as the stars come out, movies will begin.  Summer Nights at Burbank Town Center is presented by Burbank Town Center, the City of Burbank Park & Recreation Department and Downtown Burbank Partnership.
